Chad and I braved the cold and headed out to the Black Velvet canyon today to try 'Ancient Future' (5.12a, seven pitches). It starts on Epinephrine and then climbs a beautiful corner and face system just to the right. All in all, the route was great, featuring hard cruxes, long pitches and varied climbing from face, dihedral, jamming, liebacking and even some short off-width.
Bummer I forgot the camera but I'll definitely remember this day for a long time...
